Flow of Crafting

1. Get a manual.
ex. a manual for sewing a cloak

2. Get some material that goes with your manual. You can appraise manuals and materials to see what form of crafting that they fall under. Your manual and your material MUST match.
ex. some torn cloth

2a. [optional] Get some dye to dye your material.
ex. a vial of green dye + some torn cloth = some torn cloth

3. Craft your material into the item using your manual. If you dyed your material earlier, then your item name will also take on this dye.
ex. a manual for sewing a cloak + some torn cloth = a torn cloth cloak

3a. [optional] Get some dye to dye your item. This time, your dye will only affect the item name (in this case, 'cloak').
ex. a vial of yellow dye + a torn cloth cloak = a torn cloth cloak

- Your item is now complete. You can further customize it with adornments. All steps past this one are optional.

4. Get your adornment. Appraise it to make sure you can use it on the object you want to. Certain adornments won't work on some items (ie. you can't put stitching adornments on metal items).
ex. a soaring hawk stitching

4a. [optional] Get some dye to dye your adornment.
ex. a vial of green dye + a soaring hawk stitching = a soaring hawk stitching

5. Adorn your object!
ex. a torn cloth cloak + a soaring hawk stitching = a torn cloth cloak stitched with a soaring hawk

5a. [optional] Get some dye to dye the finished product. After an item has been adorned, dyes will affect the 'neutral' text.
ex. a vial of black dye + a torn cloth cloak stitched with a soaring hawk = a torn cloth cloak stitched with a soaring hawk

Other Helpful Tips

* Your finished item's stat will depend on the manual you crafted it from. If your manual has +damroll, then so will the finished product. The higher the bonus, the better.

* Other factors contribute to the overall power of the item as well, including material (appraise it and check the rarity - the rarer, the better), character skill and character level.

* Manuals can only be found in chests, but materials, dyes, and adornments can all be found off mobiles and in chests.
