MUD Clients

You can use one of these MUD clients to connect to The Shadow's Embrace. All of these clients are third-party applications, and are not endorsed by the staff of The Shadow's Embrace, with the exception of MUSHClient. All blurbs are taken directly from the website of the respective MUD client.

Windows MUD Clients

SimpleMU is an internet client for all MUD type games including MUSH, MOO, MUCK and MUSE.
Zugg Software was formed in September, 1996, to produce high quality software for the Internet.
MUD Mage 6 is currently in the works. Development is in Java.
MUDSOCK works like a Telnet program only with enhancements that make MUD-ding a little easier.
MUSHClient is written in C++ for speed and compact size! Fastest MUD client available for Windows.
Portal is developed exclusively for gamers by gamers, Portal© for Windows is the single, best choice for all textual online RPG's.
Pueblo was a client developed and distributed by a company called Chaco Communications Inc.
Wintin.Net is a client for text-based muds.
Fire Client uses a custom specification called IMP (Interactive Mudding Protocol).
Dragonsong is a MUD Client written in C# on the .NET Platform.
The RoAClient MUD Client is a FREE graphical MUD client for Win95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP.

Macintosh MUD Clients

Rapscallion is a MUD client, written for MacOS compatible computers.
Savitar is the premier shareware MUD / MUSH / MOO client for Macintosh computers.
MacMOOSE is a client program designed to make it easier to program MOOs and MOOSEs.
MudWalker is an in-development open-source MUD client for Mac OSX.
Atlantis is a client specifically designed to aid in playing MUSHes, MUXes, MOOs, MUCKs, and MUDs.

Linux MUD Clients

Kmud is a free graphical MUD client for Linux and other Unix platforms running KDE.
TinyFugue, aka "tf", is a flexible, screen-oriented MUD client, for use with any type of text MUD.
mcl is a MUD Client for Unix
Powwow is a client program which replaces telnet for the lazy mudder who wants some extra features.
Xpertmud is an extensible perl, python and ruby scriptable MUD client.
Mmucl (pronounced muckle) is a mud client written in Tcl.
GnomeMud is an advanced MUD client for GNOME
Ymusk stands for Yenzie's Mush Klient. It is a mush client written in Perl.
SClient is an small and fast mud client to be used under X Windows.
RMC stands for Ron's MUD Client. It is a client application for connecting to a MUD server.
MudTelnet is telnet, but with MUD client features!
